The Norman start-up Bubble, which is developing an application to list and classify its comics, has completed a funding round of 300,000 euros. The Norman accelerator NFactory, the investment fund NCI and INSEAD Business Angels took part in the operation. Founded in January 2016 by Nicolas Devé (opposite) and Benoit Vallon, Bubble is aimed at comics, comics and manga enthusiasts to help them manage the comics they own and complete them if they wish via a personalized agenda for upcoming releases.
With this investment, the Rouen start-up plans to continue developing its application, with the addition of new features, and to increase its visibility. Within a year, Bubble is targeting 100,000 users “to eventually become the Allociné de la BD“.
While everyone is waiting for the iPhone 8, which will celebrate the tenth anniversary of the launch of the smartphone fromApple next fall, the apple brand revealed a limited edition red iPhone 7, stamped “Product Red”. The latter will be marketed from March 24 between 879 euros and 1,129 euros depending on the model (classic or Plus) and storage capacity (128 GB or 256 GB). This is the very first model of the American firm entirely dressed in red.
This new purely aesthetic iPhone will be used to finance the fight against AIDS. With each purchase, a portion of the profits will in fact be donated to the Global AIDS Fund through the Product Red brand. Since its inception in 2006, Product Red has donated more than $ 465 million to the Global AIDS Fund, including more than $ 130 million from Apple.
In parallel with this announcement, Apple has also decided to abandon the 16 GB and 64 GB models of the iPhone SE and replace them with the 32 GB and 128 GB versions.
