This investment should allow Paytm to develop its user base and create a wide range of financial services. To date, the Indian platform claims 220 million users. Over the next three to five years, Paytm plans to invest approximately $ 1.6 billion to double its user base and help nearly 500,000 Indians gain access to digital payment.
