Facebook announces the launch of its new Perspectives tool. A few weeks before the first round of the French presidential election, the social network offers easier access to its users, to candidate programs.
Below each policy-related article, an image with a blue hand that puts a cardboard in an urn will appear, with a limit of 3 per day. The user is prompted to click on it to access Perspectives.
The module is updated by the candidates and their teams. The referenced proposals come from the “proposals” tab of the applicants page. Several categories are proposed and were created by the Center for Political Research of Sciences Po (CEVIPOF).
