The Swedish start-up Soundtrack Your Brand announces a new round of $ 22 million in Series C. Two venture capital funds took part in the operation, Industrifonden and Balderton Capital, as well as manufacturers such as Telia Company, Northzone, Creandum, HMP and Jörg Mohaupt, who works at Access Industries.
With this transaction, the company has raised nearly $ 36 million since its creation in 2013. Spotify notably invested $ 11 million in 2015. Created by Ola Sars and Andreas Liffgarden, two former members of the Swedish giant, the company is marketing a B2B version of its music streaming service. The latter, called Spotify Business in Sweden, Norway and Finland and Soundtrack Business in the rest of the world, notably allows brands to manage playlists remotely, and to broadcast them simultaneously to different places.

“This is particularly important at the present time. Facebook exists to bring us together and to build a global community. (…) At times like this, the best we can do at Facebook is to develop a social infrastructure that allows people to build a global community that works for all of us.“, Explains Mark Zuckerberg in particular. The ambition of the CEO of Facebook is clear: to make his social network a tool at the service of a united community, tolerant, secure, informed and involved in major social issues.
The society Tetravue, specializing in the manufacture of 3D cameras for self-driving cars, has just completed a funding round of $ 10 million. Samsung and Foxconn participated in this operation.
Founded in 2008 in California, Tetravue has developed a 3D camera that allows autonomous cars to have a better view of their environment. They will thus be able to drive at a greater speed while avoiding collisions. LIDAR technology is used to measure distances. In this area, Tetravue counts among its competitors the company Mobileye, which recently joined forces with BMW and Intel to test this technology on around 40 cars.
This fundraising will allow Tetravue to market its cameras. The company not only wants to use them for the automotive industry, but for all companies that need high quality 3D images.
