MyFanGroup has just published an infographic presenting the figures of the mobile sector and its players.

We discover the key data on the behavior of 22.3M French mobile users, who spend an average of 82 minutes every day on their mobile or tablet.

55% of them consult the Internet from their mobile at least once a day, mainly to go to social networks (60% of Twitter users are on mobile) or websites.e-commerce (25% of mobile users have already purchased via their phone).

  • Smartphones, which represent 13.3M units sold last year, are in the majority compared to traditional mobile phones with 53% of PdM in the 1st quarter of 2012.
  • Android remains the leading OS in France with 35% of PdM ahead of Apple’s iOS and Symbian.

Finally, we can note the increase in the share of Internet traffic via mobile in France, which rose from less than 1% in the third quarter of 2009 to 5.4% three years later.
