The iClick Interactive agency published an infographic on the extent of smartphone addiction and the consequences it can have on health.
Surprisingly, the world has more people with mobile phones (5.1 billion people) than people with a toothbrush (4.2 billion). Ironically, the 120 million iPhones sold in 2012 weigh more than the Eiffel Tower.
Beyond this aspect, addiction is also manifested by the fact that 40% of individuals answered the phone when they were in the toilet or that 64% sleep with it next to it.
This has several direct consequences, the best known of all: the impression that the phone vibrates… when it is not.
