[Infographie Apple] How big is the apple?

by bold-lichterman

Record sales, astronomical capitalization… It is sometimes difficult to grasp Apple’s real economic weight. The following infographic, produced by the team of Best computer science degrees and relayed on the site New Factory, has therefore endeavored to stage different comparisons (sometimes incongruous) between the staggering figures of the apple brand and different economic data.

Offset, this achievement however has the merit of delivering a few orders of magnitude, making it possible to assess the excessiveness of Apple’s figures. We note for example that its 2011 turnover ($ 128 billion) is greater than the GDP of more than 160 countries, or that since 2008, Apple has sold almost as many devices as cars sold around the world over this same period.
