Details of the operation, which took place last November, were not disclosed. However, the purchase amount could amount to 7 figures.
Bought in 2009 by Viadeo, Tianji is today LinkedIn’s main competitor in China. The social network now claims more than 8M users. 90% of the members are between 24 and 40 years old.
As a reminder, last April, Viadeo has raised € 24M. This acquisition should allow it to accentuate its mobile strategy in the Chinese market.
