Stuart sets out to conquer the French urban delivery market
This week, a new player has landed on the urban delivery market in France: Stuart. Based in Barcelona and with an office in Paris, this start-up is based on a B2B business model. Concretely, it offers merchants or e-merchants a solution that puts them in touch with bicycle delivery men, located near their shops or their collection points, ready to deliver their products to their customers.
Internally, Stuart has developed technology that optimizes the races to be performed. “It is an algorithm which, in real time, will always assign the most suitable delivery person according to the distance to be traveled, the volume to be transported, the weight to be transported (…)”, explains to Frenchweb Benjamin Chemla, the co-founder of Stuart. Today, 25 Barcelona-based employees are said to work in the company’s R&D.
