Google has just launched, in partnership with the Mobile Marketing Association France, the platform “Our Mobile Planet”. The interactive site aims to provide a quantity of data on the use of smartphones in France and around the world.
The platform gives access to all the information collected as part of the study “French companies facing the mobile challenge ”Conducted jointly in March and July 2011 by Google, MMA, Ipsos and TNS Infratest.
Two additional surveys also been integrated. The first, aimed at consumers, collected testimonials from thousands of smartphone users in 30 countries. The second, intended for advertisers, brings together more than 1,000 interviews with marketing directors and decision-makers in five different countries, including 200 for France.
Intended for the general public, the use of the platform is very simple and is done in three stages. It allows each user to create their own graphic.
- First of all, you just have to select the type of data to which you want to have access: penetration rate, behavior, uses, m-commerce, and mobile advertising.
- The Internet user must then choose the desired geographical area.
- Then a graph is presented showing all these statistics.
