The startup Isogeo, specializing in the management of geographic data, is raising € 1 million from a European private investor. In the age of open data and when many public bodies are called upon to release them, the company counts among its customers the General Council of Moselle, the urban communities and agglomerations of Creusot-Montceau, Lorient , Dunkirk or even that of Dijon.
“We will be able to accelerate in two directions: the public sector – with an innovative response to the common issues of INSPIRE and Open Data – and the private sector which expects a rapid return on investment from our Platform” declares Mathieu Becker, president and founder.
Launched in 2009, Isogeo publishes a cloud solution, marketed in SaaS (software as a service, software marketed as a service, editor’s note), which helps public and private organizations manage their geographic data. Already supported by Oséo and Scientipôle Initiative, the company intends, thanks to this investment, to hire new recruits to accelerate its marketing and develop its platform.
