Genymobile, a 100% Android start-up

by bold-lichterman

Created in February 2011, Genymobile is an IT services company specializing in mobile technologies and connected objects, it designs 100% Android interfaces for brands like JCDecaux for example, for which it has equipped street furniture. Among its references, we find Orange, EDF, Thales, or La Poste. With 17 employees, the company claims a turnover of 2M € for 2012.

By placing the Android system at the heart of its product design strategy, Genymobile is banking on the flexibility of Google’s operating system, applied to businesses. Genymobile is also spearheading this new approach, the start-up has just created an Android expertise service center in France, and participated in the creation of the Android Business Group, the first professional user club of Android.

Genymobile is also involved in the Paris Android User Group (PAUG), with the aim of sharing feedback on Android in a business or industrial setting.
