Featured on Kickstarter in April 2012, the Pebble Watch had exploded the scores by raising nearly 10.2M $ on the 100,000 $ initially planned. This smartwatch, created by Eric Migicovsky, will finally be available on the market from Wednesday 23 January.
Equipped with a Sharp e-ink screen, it is connected to its “owner’s” smartphone and has a microprocessor, an accelerometer, and a vibration motor. It is compatible with iOS and Android, and has a rechargeable battery that lasts for seven days. Its creators will also provide an SDK (development kit) to allow Pebble users to develop applications.
The Pebble Watch will be available on January 23 in several colors, at a rather reasonable price of $ 150 (€ 112). You can now pre-order on its dedicated site.
