[FW Radar] J’AACcélère wants driving schools to go digital
Founded in May 2015 by four students from the IUT Informatique de Grenoble, Antoine Boisadam, Nils Burlat, Pierre-Antoine Porte and Florian Sanz, I accelerate allows driving school students to digitize their paper logbook. It is possible for them to inform all their evolutions and remarks on the same space.
More details with Florian Sanz, CEO and co-founder of J’AACcélère.
FrenchWeb: What needs does your service meet?
Florian Sanz, CEO and co-founder of J’AACcélère: We started from a fairly simple observation, the paper driving course logbook does not meet any of the expectations, whether on the side of the students or on the side of the driving schools. We have therefore decided to modernize this solution by improving it so that it now meets the various needs: monitoring of the student’s progress, analysis of the journeys made, etc.
Our solution allows them to offer a more modern service more suited to the new generation.
What’s your value proposition?
Our mobile application allows young people in accompanied driving to dispense with the traditional paper learning booklet. It allows them to record all the information of their journeys in just two clicks. For driving schools, they can now follow the progress of their students in accompanied driving while they previously had no vision of their progress.
Who are the users of your solution?
On the one hand, young people aged 15 to 18 who choose early learning to drive (AAC) in order to learn how to drive. They will simply press the central button of the application before and after a trip in order to retrieve all the necessary information. They then use it to view their journeys, self-assess and retrieve a PDF version of the notebook.
The leaders and instructors of driving schools use the application to see the status of all the students enrolled in their establishment. They can then detect those who are in difficulty, those to whom it is necessary to propose an educational meeting …
Who are your competitors?
Our main competitors are the groups which currently provide educational resources to driving schools (Codes Rousseau, ENPC, Ediser, etc.).
Unlike the latter, we want to offer digital services that allow driving schools to modernize their offers and meet the expectations of a very connected 15-24 year old market.
What is your development plan?
We want to continue working hand in hand with driving schools to enable them to offer the best services and training to their students. We will therefore continue to distribute our dashboard for driving schools and launch the development of other solutions dedicated to this market thereafter. We will also seek to set up partnerships with various players in the automobile insurance and automobile sectors in general.
What are your challenges?
We want to succeed in penetrating the atomized market of driving schools in order to reach as many students as possible. For that we will need in the coming weeks of reinforcements on sale to distribute the solution.
