Iliad has published the financial results for its first half of 2014:
- turnover exceeds 2 billion euros, up 10%;
- the net result stands at 139.9 million euros, down 1.3% year-on-year (141.8 million euros in the first half of 2013);
In total, the company has 15 million customers in its fixed and mobile activities. In the fixed line alone, the acquisition of 95,000 additional subscribers despite increased price competition, in particular that of Bouygues Télécom which presented a “box” offer at 19.90 euros last March. In this segment, Iliad claims a market share of 24% for a turnover of 1.279 billion euros, up 4%.
On the mobile side, the group has attracted 1 million new customers, allowing it to cross the 9 million subscribers in France, for 13% of claimed market share, on an initial target of 15% two years after its launch. Mobile turnover reached 746 million euros, up 24%.
