Fotolia launches its video creation platform in France: Flixtime

Fotolia, the French marketplace for royalty-free images, videos and vectors with CA $ 100 million in 2010 officially launches in France, Flixtime.com, its platform dedicated to the creation of online videos. It has already been available for a year in the United States where 400,000 videos have already been produced.

Users can create videos there from photos and videos and synchronize their presentation automatically and in Fotolia launches its video creation platform in Francemusic based on 200 categorized titles (electro, hip hop, pop / rock…).

It is also possible to add text, highlight certain sequences and set transition modes and speeds. The generated video is easily exportable on a blog or a site, perhaps shared by email, on social networks (Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Viadeo…) or via more than 300 connected internet services (YouTube, Netvibes, WordPress…) .

As a reminder, three months ago, Fotolia had taken shares of the American music and sound marketplace, AudioMicro, up to $ 750,000.
