Forest Admin, a start-up editor of a universal administration interface, announces a first fundraising for an amount of 3 million euros. The investment was led by Connect Ventures, Xavier Niel and Taavet Hinrikus.
Founded in 2016 by Sandro Munda and incubated by eFounders, Forest Admin markets a back-office platform in Saas. Launched in May 2017 after 6 months of beta testing, the start-up aims to make life easier for developers by providing them with a ready-to-use administration interface that connects to any application.
Each company is indeed forced to create an admin interface for employees in order to be able to share all kinds of information such as statistics or information relating to payments. Forest Admin therefore wishes to automate this step by allowing developers to create an administration platform more quickly. The tool thus allows developers to remain focused on the customer product rather than on the platform.
Forest Admin is a freemium service. The start-up claims 350 customers including Qonto, Spendesk and Heetch.
With this first investment, Forest Admin intends to strengthen its team in Paris. Currently the start-up employs around ten employees.
The fundraising will also allow the company to continue to develop its product and strengthen its international presence.
