Between the moment you use an application on your mobile or tablet, and the CRM of an e-commerce, luxury or finance company, billions of data can be exploited by new players of martketing automation. Like Follow Analytics, the American start-up created by the French Samir Addamine, these new companies are placed in a market valued at 5.5 billion dollars by 2019, according to a recent report.

When Samir Addamine, a former business developer with large accounts in France decides in 2013 to get started, he therefore knows that speed is essential to fit in with American or European competitors.

Two years after the launch, there are already $ 17 million raised in seed and series A, and four international offices. Discussions for series B (which should amount to several tens of millions of dollars; an average for those involved in marketing automation ndlr) are in class. While Samir Addamine already has big names on his board (one of the co-founders of Salesforce, SAP, Cathay Capital in particular), the Frenchman is also discussing with a Chinese investor, “present behind Baidu and Xiaomi”, he confides . And specifies: “In China we have passed the financial stage of convincing the investor, then the technological stage will come with the integration into the Chinese cloud.”

Follow Analytics, which specializes in “mobile moments, and omnichannel experiences” that it creates for the user, claims annual growth of 100%. “Retail, distribution, sales, and luxury brands”, lists Samir Addamine: all sectors are gradually switching to the mobile channel and data analysis. In total, forty major accounts among the customers (Allianz, BNPParibas, LOréal, Louis Vuitton, Renault) and “a third of the CAC 40” in the portfolio claims the company which markets its solution in Saas and on a monthly basis.
