The start-up AdotMob specialized in mobile programmatic advertising completed its first fundraising of 1 million euros with Iris Capital and Kerala Ventures. The company optimizes programmatic media buying on smartphones and tablets for advertisers and media agencies. It owns its technological platform.
Created in early 2014 by Yannis Yahiaoui and Thomas Zaeppfel, AdotMob wants to differentiate itself from the new programmatic players. “Our own purchasing algorithms allow us to have more flexibility and transparency than with third-party DSPs. We are thus today the only player to own its technology on the market, ”explains Yannis Yahiaoui. The start-up counts among its first clients, BlaBlaCar, Spotify and Hello Bank!
“The Adtech market has enormous potential for growth and consolidation on mobile, a potential that advertisers are starting to see,” observes Gil Doukhan, director of investments at Iris Capital.
Based in Paris, the company, which announces a turnover of more than 1 million euros in 2014, is now made up of twelve people, including nine engineers. This fundraising should enable it to continue developing technologies and the commercial offer. AdotMob will recruit ten people in the next six months; mostly engineer profiles.
