[Exclu] PeopleDoc raises $ 28 million to impose its leadership
PeopleDoc, a player in the digital HR transformation of companies, has announced a fundraising of $ 28 million in Series C from Eurazeo. The historical investors Accel Partners, Kernel Investissements (the structure of Pierre Kosciusko-Morizet in particular) and Alven Capital, are participating in the transaction.
Founded in 2007 by Jonathan Benhamou and Clément Buyse, the start-up publishes document dematerialization solutions for HRDs. In May 2014, PeopleDoc (formerly Novapost) had raised more than $ 17 million, or just over 13 million euros.
Based in New York, the company has maintained its R&D team in France. It claims more than 1.5 million employees worldwide who connect daily to its platform and 400 corporate clients. Its solution attracts large groups, such as Auchan, Alten, TNS Sofres or Yves Rocher, allowing it to “quadruple its turnover” in France. In the United States, its second market where it has been established since May 2014, the company has won over American Express and Match.com.
Beyond the administration, the platform was also designed to manage exchanges with employees and respond to their requests with, for example, predefined response models.
This new fundraising, which brings the total investment amount to 50 million euros, should enable it to expand in Europe, with the upcoming opening of an office in London. More details with Jonathan Benhamou and Yann Hervé du Rusquec, head of Eurazeo Croissance, received exclusively on Frenchweb.
