LoungeUp, platform allowing hoteliers to create a mobile and web service for their customers, today announces a fundraising of several hundred thousand euros.
This round table was notably led by Pôle Capital as well as a panel of Business Angels including Nicolas Baudy (e-tourism entrepreneur, ex VoyagesSNCF, ex Weekendesk), Francesco Maio (NowFashion, Attractive World) or Didier Herrmann (ex President by Unilog). The exact amount of the transaction remains confidential to this day.
Founded in 2011 by Mathieu Pollet and Lionel Tressens (formerly CTO Overblog), LoungeUp develops and markets an application for hoteliers, directly accessible on customers’ mobile devices. Via this application, hotel residents can, among other things, access practical information about the establishment and its surroundings, order room services and interact with the hotel through a messaging service.
The application also has a social dimension and thus offers users to meet other customers through the integration of social networks. Finally, the tool offers the possibility of responding to satisfaction surveys in order to allow hoteliers to detect any dissatisfaction before the end of the stay. The main idea is therefore to allow hotel professionals to improve their customer relationship and thus optimize their activity.
Trained at Camping, the accelerator based at Palais Brongniart, LoungeUp has already won over twenty hotels in France. Thanks to this capital increase, LoungeUp intends to accelerate its commercial development and expand its circle of partner hotels in France and abroad.
