Linxo, specialist in online personal finance management, has just completed a funding round of 530,000 euros with the mutual credit Arkea, of Sagax and several business angels, including Andres Menajovsky, entrepreneur and former deputy general manager of Havas.
Launched in April 2010 by Hugues Pisapia and Bruno Van Haetsdaele, Linxo offers a service that allows real-time monitoring of the position of individual bank accounts and the evolution of their budget from the Internet or directly from a mobile application. Among its main features: monitoring of the balance and banking operations, sending of alerts in the event of suspicious transactions or overdrafts, graphic representation of budgets and savings possibilities or sending of monthly or weekly summaries.
The Linxo solution is offered directly to individuals and is also available as a white label and as a software license. Across the Atlantic, similar services such as Mint.com seem to have some success and have already attracted several million users.
This capital increase should in particular allow the start-up to develop a new version of its iPhone app and to decline its service on Android.
In addition to the contribution of the founders, the financial support of OSEO, Scientipole Initiative and several business angels including François Mazon, former CEO of Cap Gemini France, this last operation brings the total amount of capital invested in the company to € 900,000.
