[Exclu] Kameleoon raises € 2m to pass A / B test in Europe
Already present in Russia and Germany, Kameleoon continues to expand in Europe. To finance these establishments, the start-up specializing in A / B testing and marketing personalization, has just raised 2 million euros from the SGPA fons, as a new shareholder, from Olivier Mathiot and Justin Ziegler, all two co-founders of PriceMinister-Rakuten, and of the host Oxalide. The company had already raised 400,000 euros in 2012.
80 qualification criteria
Concretely, Kameleoon offers website editors to test several different options on a page – by varying a text, an image, etc. – in order to determine, from the data collected, which is the most effective in terms of conversion. For example, in the newspaper industry, Kameleoon works with newspapers to determine the most effective subscription formula.
In addition to its A / B testing offer, Kameleoon has also developed personalization offers whose objective is to contextualize the same web page according to each Internet user. To achieve this, its technology crosses 80 qualification criteria.
Canal +, Société Générale… among the customers
Three after its launch, Kameleoon the company counts among its clients M6 Web, Canal +, L’Equipe and France Inter in the media, Promovacances, Voyage Privé and Fram in e-commerce, as well as Société Générale and Hello Bank in the sector. banking. As many customers to whom it markets its offers in the form of a monthly subscription, the price of which varies according to the volume of visitors “tested” per month.
