Thus, for 19.90 euros per month, higher education students will be able to use the tablet Archos 80 G9 and a 3G subscription offering a download of 1GB of data. The bit rate will be reduced to 128 kb / s.
This new offer therefore competes with the service offered by Orange, partner of the iPad and the Samsung Galaxy Tab, priced at 30 euros per month.
However, for the moment it is only of an advertisement. Indeed, the offer will only be available on the Bouygues Telecom site from the beginning of November and until January 15. However, Archos and Bouygues wanted to talk about it now in order to prevent students from “rushing to the offer of competitors”, limited to the first 10,000 requests.
The controversy between Archos and Laurent Wauquiez is therefore no longer relevant. Indeed, after questioning the technology of the French company, the Minister of Higher Education now supports the offer that the manufacturer has just completed with Bouygues Telecom.
