2 years after launching its iPad application, TF1 pushes the logic of the second screen even further with the arrival of Connect, a real synchronized TV experience inside the site and MyTF1. It will be available from February 2 for the return to the air of The Voice. When used optimally on a tablet, Connect is also available for smartphones and PCs in order to adapt to the number of viewers’ terminals.
- Cutting of the flow by production for sharing highlights via social networks
- Users share their own choice of 1mn30 sequences of the program (Instant Replay)
- Applications dedicated to shows and synchronized with the live stream. Ex: the “5th Coach” on The Voice. Users are challenged directly via Connect. A classification is made at the end of the program with prizes.
Gamification will be able to go beyond the programs themselves to enter advertising spaces and thus give free rein to TF1’s control room in the marketing of multimedia campaigns. To date, nearly 5M MyTF1 iOS or Android applications have been downloaded and the channel claims 15M fans ”on all networks.
