Emakina acquires the Boom Mobile agency

The European group of digital agencies Emakina headed by Manuel Diaz wants to strengthen its position on mobile in France.

Listed on the Alternext market since July 2006, Emakina has just acquired the activity of Boom Mobile, a mobile marketing agency based in Geneva which mainly addresses the fine watchmaking, fashion and tourism markets.

While the amount of the buyback is currently unknown, the agency’s teams Boom – about ten people – have already integrated the premises of Emakina in Paris. For Manuel Diaz, the president of Emakina: “ The acquisition of Boom strengthens our teams and responds to the growing demand from our customers for integrating mobile strategies into their marketing mix. For the generation of business opportunities as well as for customer loyalty, mobile today constitutes an essential point of contact in the experience of brands in order to effectively unify offline and online experiences. ”

He adds: ” Boom mobile has high-performance technical skills, well-established processes, and customer profiles very complementary to those of the group.“.

Emakina therefore intends to continue its expansion in mobile marketing, by completing its four businesses: strategic brand management, brand activation, website construction and digital application development.

Today, the creation of mobile applications and sites represents a team of more than 50 people and around 11% of turnover, indicates Emakina group. The latter, present in Brussels, Paris, Limoges, Rotterdam, London and Geneva, via its dedicated agencies. In 2012, EMAKINA Group claimed a turnover of 48.8 million euros.
