MasteryConnect just raised $ 15.2 million from Trinity Ventures, Pelion Ventures and Catamount Ventures. The company wishes to take advantage of these funds to accelerate the development of its solution which allows teachers to identify the different levels of students’ understanding to provide personalized assistance.
“The teachers do the job, and we are proud to offer a platform to help. This roundtable is further validation of our mission and will give us more flexibility to build the tools that educators today need, many of which are free, ”said Cory Reid, CEO of MasteryConnect.
To meet demand, the start-up has grown from 35 employees in March to 70 today. The solution is billed as needed, with some basic functions even free. It is then billed at $ 159 per year per professor, and $ 7 per student.
