As part of its Special e-commerce week, FrenchWeb was interested in French start-ups that offer digital solutions to retailers, as well as to e-merchants. Payment solutions, digitalization of customer service, click & collect solutions: so many services that allow e-merchants to better sell their products online, and to offer their customers an ever richer experience.
In the first quarter of the year, more than 36 million French Internet users made an online purchase. This is 1 million more than in the same period in 2016, according to figures from the Fevad. There are now 206,800 e-commerce sites in France, ie 20,000 more than in the same period in 2016. Finally, another proof of the sector’s dynamism, the e-commerce ecosystem is the third most represented area in the 2017 edition of FrenchWeb 500, with more than one in 10 (12%) companies belonging to this sector.
Marketing optimization solutions, payment solutions, customer services or even online catalog management, so many services for e-merchants developed by the 165 French start-ups selected by FrenchWeb for its mapping of the sector.
