“We manage 150 hours of daily live on YouTube and Dailymotion, that’s more than all the TNT gathered live” assures Philippe Laurent, the co-founder ofEasy Live, a start-up based in Mérignac which has just raised 800,000 euros from Galia Gestion and Aquiti Gestion. The company is developing an automated dressing solution for live streaming videos.

“We pick up all kinds of signals, and dress live broadcast video in real time for a TV-like result, all without additional technical staff. It can be any web service (a Twitter feed from an account, semi-automatic subtitles …) or even automatically generate advertising during a half-time of a match. In all cases, everything shown in the video is checked, ”explains Mr. Laurent.

Hiring of 4 to 5 people

The entire interface works in the cloud – therefore without any special software to install for the producer – and is marketed in the form of an annual license giving the right to unlimited use.

Launched in 2012 by three co-founders, Easy Live boasts several major accounts in its customer portfolio. “We notably count PSG, AS Monaco and the French Football Team for the retransmission of events outside TV rights (such as a press conference for example), or even FFTennis de Table for the retransmission of matches for the platform – Bwin online betting form ”assures Philippe Laurent. To speed up, the start-up plans to hire 4 to 5 people in the next two months to continue its development.
