Companies with a fairly large customer base often conduct satisfaction surveys. It is to help them analyze these feedbacks that Fabien Poulard has created Dictanova. This Nantes start-up has developed a solution that analyzes consumer comments in order to determine points of satisfaction or discontent.
“We have developed tools, algorithms, which make it possible to transform customer verbatims, that is to say free textual speaking, into key information that we will then correlate with satisfaction scores”, explains at Frenchweb Fabien Poulard, the founder of Dictanova.
€ 1.2 million raised in January
Since its creation in 2011, Dictanova has mainly targeted B2C companies and thus claims customers in mass distribution (Fnac, Feu Vert…), banking (Caisse d’Epargne, Banque Populaire…) or tourism (French regions). As many accounts as it invoices according to the volume of data analyzed.
To accelerate, Dictanova raised 1.2 million euros in January 2015 from Go Capital and IT-Translation Investissement and Julien Hervouët, the co-founder of iAdvize, a Nantes-based company specializing in customer relationship management. With this investment, the start-up wants to continue the technological development of its solution and develop its commercial strategy, which will notably involve recruitments. A possible international development is also being studied.
