Tim Cook for his part sent the following email to his employees: “I have very sad news to share with you. Steve died during the day (Wednesday, editor’s note), ”begins the new boss of Apple. “Apple has lost a visionary, and the world has lost an extraordinary human being (…) Steve leaves behind a company that only he could build, and his spirit will forever be the bedrock of Apple. He adds that a commemoration of “Steve’s extraordinary life will take place soon.”
