Curation: SoftBank and KDDI invest $ 11.8 million in Gunosy

The Japanese news curation application Gunosy has just raised $ 11.8 million from KDDI, one of the main Japanese telephone operators, and SoftBank.

Gunosy allows you to centralize, prioritize and organize in a personalized way the information coming from about fifty Japanese media, like Flipboard. Released in 2013, it has become one of the most popular apps on the App Store and Google Play in the Land of the Rising Sun. The company now hopes to reach 100 million downloads within the next three years.
