According to sources familiar with the matter, SFR should announce the appointment of Olivier Sichel, present as CEO of SFR following the precipitous departure of Franck Esser, temporarily replaced by Jean-Bernard Lévy, simultaneously Chairman of the Management Board of Vivendi.
Olivier Sichel worked at France Telecom between 1998 and 2006, at the direction of Alapage in 2000, then of Wanadoo in 2002, the internet subsidiary of France Telecom, of which he ensured the delisting in April 2004. Under the direction of Thierry Breton, he managed the integration of the company within the group and took charge of the fixed line and internet division. He is at the origin of the launch of the Livebox and the VOIP.
In November 2006, Olivier Sichel joined the venture capital firm Sofinnova Partners as a partner.
