Competition from new players, Docapost is betting on the digitization of HR

by bold-lichterman

The HR sector is undergoing a digital transformation, and several fundraisers have marked the sector in recent months, in France and in the United States. A market for which Docapost does not want to miss out. The La Poste group subsidiary is launching a new Saas platform to steer the human resources strategy in large companies. This can be the dematerialization of documents, or the management of social dialogue and the organization of company elections.

Docapost brings together a set of applications on its platform, some of which are developed by start-ups. The group works, for example, with the French start-up Talentsoft, which recently raised $ 25 million in October. “There are a lot of HR applications. Our added value is to create a bridge between these different applications and these HR information systems ”, explains Laurent Adde, Marketing Director of Docapost.

Face new competitors

The stakes are high for Docapost, which faces more and more competition from new players in the market for digital solutions for human resources. Regarding the dematerialization of documents, for example, its competitor PeopleDoc raised 28 million dollars in September, after a first round of funding of 17 million in 2014. What to encourage the historical players in the sector to accelerate.

With this new platform, Docapost therefore hopes to convince HRDs not only to relieve them of their daily paperwork, but also to place them in a “business logic”. “HRDs are moving to digital, the real question is how to support them on this change”.
