The publisher of the application Today’s Headlines (Toutiao), which presents itself as an information curator like Flipboard or Zite, has just raised $ 100 million from Sequoia Capital and Sina Weibo, the Chinese Twitter, which would also have participated around.

The deal would value the company at over $ 500 million. Launched in 2012, the software now has over 40 million monthly active users. Users can read the articles, or use various functions like audio playback.
