CES 2013, a major high tech event, will open its doors next Tuesday in Las Vegas. Intel, LG, Sony, Archos, and many more will be present to unveil what should become the flagships of the year. FrenchWeb presents the 10 most anticipated terminals of this 2013 edition:

  • According to information from the site Digitimes, LG is expected to present theOptimus G2. This phablet, according to the rumor, should run on Android and benefit from a 5.5-inch screen in high definition. We do not have more information at the moment on who could play in the same court as the Note 2.
  • Samsung, for its part, should make a lot of noise by unveiling its new 5.5 inch smartphone to flexible screen, which should be the big trend at CES 2013. There are also rumors that the Korean giant could launch a 7-inch tablet named Galaxy note 7.
  • Sony Mobile is expected to introduce two new 5-inch smartphones: the Xperia Z and ZL. According to the rumors of the corridor, the first could only be distributed in the Japanese market while the second will be available in the rest of the world. Among the characteristics of the two smartphones: a quad core Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, coupled with 2 GB of RAM, and a 13 megapixel camera.


  • In addition, a first Google / Motorola smartphone could see the light of day at CES: the X Phone. Equipped with a 5-inch screen, it could take advantage of ceramic coating and new software on gesture and visual recognition.   • According to information from TechCrunch, Intel is expected to introduce its own set-top box. It, launched in a few target markets for its debut, should make it possible, among other things, to watch streaming services and to benefit from facial recognition.
  • The manufacturer Geonaute will unveil its 360, a camera integrating 3 sensors that will allow you to film in 360 degrees. The Geonaut 360 will be equipped with a storage capacity of 3GB, will have an autonomy of 2 hours, and will obviously be resistant to water and shocks, all for almost € 400.

  • HTC will present the M7, a worthy successor to the One X. It will have a 4.7-inch full HD 1920 x 1080 pixel screen powered by a 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon chip, with 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage, a 13-megapixel photo sensor, and more. Finally, navigation on the M7 should also be done from the touch screen and not from the physical keys.
  • On the TV side, Samsung has announced, through numerous teasers, the arrival of a new generation of televisions with an “innovative” design, an “unprecedented” shape and a “timeless” appearance. We do not know more at the moment.


  • French Archos will introduce his Archos TV Connect, a box that plugs into any HDTV to access Android 4.1 and the Google Play application store. Following its presentation at CES, the Archos TV Connect should be available from February, for 129 €.
  • Finally, let’s get out of smartphones and tablets to announce that manufacturers Toyota and Audi will take advantage of CES to present their project of autonomous car. The first will unveil the Lexus LS 600h, equipped with numerous sensors, will integrate several security systems: automatic stop near a pedestrian, identification of other vehicles, white lines and traffic lights.
