The large distribution group crossroads just launched DeliveryExpress.fr, a site allowing the brand’s customers to be delivered within one hour to the address of their choice. Carrefour guarantees the preparation of the order in less than 30 minutes. For now, this new service is only available in most of the arrondissements of Paris (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 10th, 18th and 20th centuries), from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. However, Carrefour plans to soon extend this offer to the entire capital.
DeliveryExpress.fr directly competes with Amazon Prime Now. Launched last June in Paris, this service allows customers of the Premium offer of the American marketplace to benefit from a one-hour delivery in the capital and in 21 towns located in the surrounding area. By launching Prime Now in the “City of Light”, Amazon had drawn the wrath of the City of Paris, which is worried about the consequences of this offer on Parisian merchants.

The group Sopra Steria, a European player in digital transformation, has completed the acquisition of the company Active 3D, specialized in BIM solutions (Building Information Modeling) for building management.
