Big data: Axciom buys LiveRamp for $ 310 million

70 new engineers specializing in Big data will join the company

acxiom-logoSpecializing in data sales and analysis, Acxiom acquires LiveRamp, a competitor that unites a vast amount of data from a multitude of applications, for an amount of $ 310 million. The American firm based in Arkansas thus hopes to strengthen its online and offline data collection.

“Together, we will accelerate our vision of a connected ecosystem that offers real marketing one-to-one. The combination should help virtually everyone in the industry achieve better connections, better insight and better results, ”said Scott Howe, President of Axciom.

LiveRamp will bring 200 new consumers to Acxiom’s customer base, including some major brands, and 70 engineers specializing in Big data.
