a-little-marketThe American Etsy, which publishes a marketplace for handmade products, made its largest acquisition since its launch in 2005 by offering itself A Little Market, its French competitor, last June. The start-up was founded in December 2008 by Nicolas Cohen, Nicolas d’Audiffret and Loïc Duvernay.

France was already one of the main markets for Etsy, but the American company regretted that most of the sellers were Americans. With A Little Market, he gets his hands on just under 90,000 creators, 620,000 members for 3.3 million monthly visits (figures from A Little Market). Learn more
