At the rate of three meetings per year in Paris, Lyon and Marseille, BeMyApp, French idea, is a competition allowing carriers of ideas for mobile applications to meet technical skills (developers and designers) to complete their project in 48 hours flat. On Friday evening, project leaders have one minute to pitch their concepts. 15 ideas are then selected and developed in 48 hours before two of them are elected by a jury of experts and a panel of 300 internet beta-testers.
Since June 2010, BeMyApp has given birth to around twenty mobile applications and startups in the wake: iDact, Study +, GPS4Cam, A! Arm, Hot Stop, Go4Out, Food Reporter or Bhava Wheel. In early March, the concept was launched in San Francisco during a first US weekend.
The next BeMyApp weekend will be dedicated to Android mobile applications with the support in particular of Google and Orange, which are committed to highlighting the two applications selected through the opening of the conference. Google I / O Developer and on the Orange AppShop stores.
