B2B software management: Indian Infosys buys American Panaya for 200 million dollars

Specialized in computer consulting, the Indian company Infosys has announced that it has reached a definitive agreement to acquire Panaya, a Californian company specializing in the automation of management software in large companies, for 200 million dollars, paid in cash. The transaction is expected to close on March 31, 2015.

“The acquisition of Panaya is a key step in the renewal and differentiation of our service lines. This will help (…) free us from the many repetitive tasks, so that we can focus more on the important strategic challenges faced by our customers ”said Vishal Sikka, CEO of Infosys. He believes that: “Panaya’s technology significantly helps simplify the costs and complexities faced by businesses in managing their enterprise application landscapes”.
