Azendoo, a Bordeaux start-up developing a task management application, has entered into a partnership with Cisco. This collaboration comes in the wake of the integration of Azendoo into the French accelerator of the American giant. The latter was launched in October 2015 to support high-potential start-ups. In France, Cisco has pledged to invest $ 200 million to promote the emergence of new innovative companies.
Launched in 2012 by Gregory Lefort (opposite) and Benoît Droulin, Azendoo is developing a web and mobile application for collaborative work and task management. The solution integrates with many other services, such as Dropbox (for file sharing), YouTube (to receive alerts in the event of a new video on a channel), Facebook (addition of a publication) or PayPal (for sales follow-up). The company claims more than 1,000 customers in 60 countries.
With Cisco, Azendoo intends to accelerate its development. “Our common desire with Cisco is to improve collaboration in the company, via innovative technologies», Explains Grégory Lefort, co-founder and CEO of Azendoo.

The Breton start-up My P’ti Neighborhood decided to change identity. From now on, it will operate under the name Smiile. Founded in 2014 by David Rouxel, Mon P’ti Voisinage is a support and sharing platform that connects the inhabitants of a city within the same district. It also links them to traders, communities, social landlords and associations in their geographical area. To date, the start-up claims 230,000 users on its platform.
On the occasion of its name change, Mon P’ti Voisinage is launching three new brands: Smiile City (for local authorities and housing actors), Smiile Connect (for actors in the collaborative economy) and Smiile Local (for the actors of the local economy, in particular the traders and the local producers).
Now renamed Smiile, the start-up now wants to set sail internationally, starting with Europe. “Today, we want to offer this tool, which meets the needs of each stakeholder in a city, town or district, to our European neighbors who face the same challenges as the French.“, Explain David Rouxel, founder and CEO of Smiile.

By 2025, the blockchain would allow investment banks to achieve cost savings of around $ 8 billion to $ 12 billion per year, according to a study by Accenture. Thanks to this technology, financial institutions could indeed reduce their infrastructure costs by 30%, by improving the transparency and quality of the data processed. Which professions are most likely to be impacted by blockchain, provided its large-scale use by banking institutions is allowed.
