IronSource announces that it has raised $ 85 million from undisclosed American, European and Chinese investors. The company wishes to take advantage of this to expand internationally, while it already has offices in Beijing, San Francisco and New York.
Based in Tel Aviv, it offers a platform to better connect developers to users, and promote application scalability, through four flagship products: installCore, a software distribution and monetization platform, mobileCore, an ad-tech to reach a targeted audience, displayCore, a performance advertising solution, and mediaCore, an application distribution platform.
Focus on China
“This investment with major Chinese investors is a testament to the value ironSource is already bringing to its Chinese partners, and more importantly, our ability to help major Chinese Internet players succeed in a global market,” said Tomer Bar-Zeev, CEO and co-founder. “China is one of the most exciting markets today for Internet and applications, and we look forward to strengthening our presence and strengthening the links between Tel Aviv and Beijing,” he adds.
Founded in 2009, the company now boasts 450 employees worldwide for more than 50,000 applications and 9,000 developers using its SDK (mobileCore).
