Alibaba does not stop acquisitions. It is now the turn of the Chinese company Umeng to pass into the fold of the empire of Jack Ma, the founder of the e-commerce group. The amount of the transaction was not disclosed, however.

The start-up publishes an analysis platform for developers of mobile applications that covers the operating systems iOS, Android and even Windows Phone. With more than 180,000 applications using its solution (according to its figures, editor’s note), it analyzes the behavior of their users in order to help more than 50,000 developers to better distribute their software and maximize their monetizations.

Founded in 2010, Umeng had raised $ 10 million in April 2010 from Matrix Partners and Innovation Works (where it was initially incubated). Significantly, its founders are former Google China, Yahoo! and Baidu.
