Aircall, 2.75 million to change dimension in the cloud call center
Aircall, a French start-up developing a cloud-based call center solution, has just announced that it has raised $ 2.75 million (around € 2.5 million) as part of a table carried out with Balderton Capital as the main investor. The company had already raised $ 800,000 last year, with the goal of entering the US market.
Founded in 2014 by Olivier Pailhès, Aircall offers an interactive voice server for managing calls within a company. Operating entirely in the cloud, the solution allows, for example, to create queues, share information between employees and even install a call button on a website. Also, Aircall works through web and mobile applications instead of traditional phone devices.
Accelerate in the United States
In addition, the solution is compatible with professional software such as Salesforce or Zendesk. “Aircall eliminates the need for a traditional phone system for businesses of any size and easily integrates phone communications with their software infrastructure,” said Bernard Liautaud, Managing Partner at Balderton Capital.
With this investment, Aircall anticipates new recruitments and wants to continue its development in Europe and the United States. “We want to double the team over the next 4 to 6 months, and accelerate the rate at which we add features to our product,” adds Olivier Pailhès, CEO of Aircall.
