After denouncing it, Free Mobile would eye the subsidized mobile

Free Mobile could launch offers in the subsidized mobile market in the coming months, which represents nearly 75% of mobile phone sales.

After being dismissed from its complaint against SFR last July for unfair competition and ordered to pay him € 400,000, Free Mobile would have decided, according to the site Freebox universe, to retaliate with an offer “aggressive and very violent” without further details.

When filing the complaint, Xavier Niel, described the subscription offers including a mobile “way of making consumer credit in disguise … without submitting to legal constraints.”

For now, the 4th largest French mobile operator has devoted itself to SIM Only and prepaid card offers. Since its launch last January, Free Mobile attracted 5.2M subscribers and generated 844M €.
