According to information from Figaro, Orange should not renew its contract with The Phone House. This agreement represented 25% of the telephone distributor’s turnover.

The Phone House had previously lost its contract with the operator Bouygues Telecom, which represented 12% of its sales.

Owned by the Best Buy group, The Phone House now employs nearly 1,200 people in France. Last December, the CEO of the group had specified that nearly 246 positions should be cut.

To cope with these difficulties, the distributor would have asked Bercy for help, the daily said.
