The French start-up Advitam, which is developing an online funeral service, has completed a funding round of 1.8 million euros. For this operation, the company, which joined the Ile-de-France accelerator Wilco in 2017 for three years, has surrounded itself with Newfund, the investment fund of François Véron and Patrick Malka endowed with 200 million euros, Bpifrance and of business angels.Apple-converted-space “>

Already present in Ile-de-France, the company will launch its service in the Alpes-Maritimes, Moselle and Meurthe-et-Moselle. Advitam should cover six other large French cities by 2019. At the same time, the start-up intends to recruit around ten people before the end of the year. This increase in staff is aimed in particular at offering new services, such as the termination of all subscriptions of the deceased and the creation of a digital memorial in his memory.
