Qvivr raises $ 5 million to launch bank card for millennials

kuldeep = The Californian FinTech Qvivr completed a $ 5 million Series A funding round led by Khosla Ventures. Founded in 2014 by Kuldeep Amarnath and Ashutosh Dhodapkar, Qvivr launched SWYP, an ultra-thin metal card and mobile app that combines all of a user’s credit, debit, donation and loyalty cards. The device should thus make it easier for the user to manage his money. However, the company halted production of SWYP due to manufacturing issues, but plans to resume shipments next summer.

This investment should allow Qvivr to develop a new product for millennials. This will harness some of the technology in the SWYP card and try to make payments “more fun” for millennials, according to the company.
