As part of an interview granted daily Liberation, Fleur Pellerin provided more details about the “Paris Digital Capital” project.

The Minister of the Digital Economy declared: “We are going to create in Paris or in the suburbs a place which will be the standard of digital in France. It could be the Freyssinet hall, it is the most serious hypothesis among the establishments studied ”. The SNCF building located behind the Gare d’Austerlitz in the 13th arrondissement, 25,000 square meters large, could then accommodate up to a thousand young shoots. Objective of this system, financed by a battery of French investors with the support of the deposit and consignment fund: to become “an international showcase, one of the major world-class incubators”.
